Studio Product & Reproduction Stand STA-C01-360
The STA C01-360 stand is heavy duty version of the STA 01-360. It was designed with a heavier weighted base, height adjustable feet and heavy duty interface plate. These features make the STA-C01-360 ideal for both product and high resolution reproduction applications. Multi image stitch together imaging applications require more precise alignment in both the horizontal and vertical plane with respect to the subject matter. When reproducing artwork that is mounted or large products that cannot be disturbed or manipulated, the height adjustable feet can be used to align the stand with the artwork or object. With the stand and object aligned true and accurate flat field reproduction can be achieved without excessive post processing. This stand is categorized as 2-axis, it provides both vertical and horizontal movement of the camera. Vertical [up/down] travel is provided by the vertical carriage. Horizontal arm / bar [left/right] extension is provided by the horizontal carriage.
The overall height and width of the STA-C01-360 allow it to be moved through a standard doorway for use in another studio, gallery or lab. The height adjustable feet are easily adjusted using the hand levers. When using the hand levers, rotate, and fully extend all three feet until the hand lever is firmly pressed against the top of the leg.
Use an inclinometer or laser to determine which one of the three legs needs to be lowered to compensate for the floor and subject matter. To datum or level the stand use a precise level, place the level on top of one of the three legs, tilt the level to simulate lowering that leg to determine the end effect. Using this method determine which one or two of the legs require adjustment to datum the stand.
The STA C01-360 provides additional reinforcement of the Horizontal Arm/Bar with a heavy- duty interface plate. The plate provides two additional bolts, strategically located, one on each side of the vertical carriage, for a total of 4 bolts. This design provides additional load support by transferring the load force from the horizontal arm into both the front and the sides of the vertical bearing carriage.
Optional Horizontal Arms/Bars are available for extending the working width of the STA C01-360 out to an approximate maximum of 1350mm / 54 inches (measured center of Vertical Column to the center of Camera plate). With an optional extended horizontal arm* the STA C01-360 is ideal for large product imaging and ART work reproduction and cataloging. With large product and fixed installation ART work reproduction applications, the STA C01-360 combined with the optional 01-350HB-1500 horizontal arm* provides 2700mm / 108 inches / 9 feet of total working width.
The STA C01-360 + optional horizontal arm* is an ideal solution for simplified workflow when stitching high-resolution images together. A unique STUDIO TITAN feature not found on other Studio Stands is the vertical and horizontal column graduated tape scales. The measuring scales provide a point of reference which allows the photographer to log and then quickly re-create a previous set-up. It also provides set-up reference points for stitch together applications.
The Camera Head Mount Plate is user adjustable and provides the following shooting positions: 0 degrees, pointing up as supplied, 90 degrees, 180 pointing down for tabletop photography, and 270 degrees.
*Before installation and use of an optional horizontal arm please read the STA_01-350HB_Horizontal_Arm_Bar_ manual. When using an optional horizontal arm, consideration for load reduction and using additional weights/sandbags on the legs of the base are required to prevent instability or a tip over.
-User positioned vertical carriage with precision smooth motion ball bearings and secure axis lock with one user brake knob
-User positioned Horizontal arm / bar carriage with precision smooth motion ball bearings and secure axis lock with two user brake knobs
-Precision-manufactured with attention to detail using CNC machinery.
-Counterweight located inside vertical column balances the load and allows single-handed operation.
-Low center of gravity base with locking Premium Dual Stage bearing casters.
-Premium Dual Stage bearing casters provide easy movement around the studio. The dual-stage foot brake stops both the wheel from rotating and the caster housing from swiveling, preventing unwanted movement.
Essential tools are included to complete assembly.

This product is intended for use by professional and commercial photographers in a studio environment with a high ceiling. The wheels are designed to be used indoors on a floor that is smooth, hard, flat, and unobstructed. It is designed to be used at all times with a load (Camera or laptop shelf or both). This product is not recommended for use by hobbyists or in a household environment with a low ceiling or carpeted floors.
Carpeting or pitted surfaces are not recommended because of the increased rolling resistance which can cause the stand to tip over. If the surface is not ideal, the stand must be moved with caution, very slowly, using both hands one at the top and the other at the bottom to steady the stand in order to prevent the stand from tipping over. If the surface is not ideal, lower the load to the waist level before moving the stand.
We also recommend the use of a sandbag or weight attached at the base when conditions are not ideal to prevent tipping over. Ultimately it’s the users' responsibility to understand how the stand operates and to use the stand within its specification limits, as intended, to ensure their own safety and the safety of their equipment. It is also recommended to use a short tether cable to secure the camera to the stand in the event that the head, head plate, or camera adapter plate comes loose or fails. Some assembly is required, we recommend using an assistant during the initial product assembly.
Assembly Instructions are inside the package. If the assembly instructions are missing or you do not fully understand the instructions stop the assembly and consider the following resources.
