CAUTION, HAZARD and INTENDED USE advisories:

It is your responsibility to protect yourself from injury, to read the Instruction Manual prior to set-up and to use the product as intended and to share this information to protect co-workers who may be receiving, assisting or operating the product. You and your co-workers agree to not hold STEPHANIE MCNEIL CORPORATION or its affiliates, liable for any injury or damages that that may result during receiving, lifting, un-boxing, set-up or use of the product.

CAUTION: Use leather work gloves and safety glasses and closed toe safety shoes when handling, when opening STUDIO TITAN AMERICA boxes, when assembling and during product set-up. Some boxes may be heavy and may require two people to carry to avoid strain.

HAZARD: Strapping is under tension and can jump when cut. Strapping and Buckles, Protective Edging, Plastic Walls, Plastic Caps and Product Components and parts should be handled with care. Work slowly, use extra caution to avoid any sharp edge.

HAZARD: Counterweight is the metal weight that is located inside the center column of the studio stand.  A metal wire or UHMWPE rope connects the horizontal arm to the counter weight. If the metal wire or UHMWPE rope is loose or more than a few inches is visible or has come out of the top of the stand, stop, do not lift the column or assemble the stand. Call or email us for assistance. This is not normal! Use caution do not handle the exposed metal wire! Use caution ! Do not handle without wearing leather gloves.  Do not put your fingers or hands in the area of the metal wire or inside the center column while unboxing or handling or during set-up or during operation. Once the counterweight strap or bolt is removed the counterweight is free to move. Do not tip the column upside down after the counterweight strap or bolt is removed, this action will cause the counterweight to move towards the top of the stand.  

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS: Printed instructions are included inside the marked box. We recommend using the most up-to-date instructions which can be found on the  STUDIO TITAN AMERICA website.  If the assembly instructions are missing or you do not fully understand the instructions please consider the following resources prior to set-up or use. INTENDED USE:
This product is intended for use by professional and commercial photographers in a studio environment with a high unobstructed ceiling.  The wheels are designed to be used indoors on a floor that is smooth, hard, flat and unobstructed. The Studio Stands with internal counterweight are designed to be used at all times with a load (Camera or laptop shelf or both).  CAUTION: This product is not recommended for use by hobbyists or in a household environment with a low ceiling or carpeted floors. Carpeting or pitted surfaces are not recommended because of the increased rolling resistance which can cause the stand to tip over.  If the surface is not ideal, the stand must be moved with CAUTION, very slowly, using both hands one at the top and the other at the bottom to steady the stand in order to prevent the stand from tipping over. If the surface is not ideal, lower the load to waist level before moving the stand. We also recommend the use of a sandbag or weight attached at the base when conditions are not ideal to prevent tipping over. Ultimately it’s the users responsibility to understand how the stand operates and to use the stand within its specification limits, as intended to insure their own safety, the safety of others and the safety of their equipment.  It is also recommended to use a short tether cable to secure the camera to the stand in the event that the head, head plate, attachment stud or camera adapter plate comes loose or fails. Some assembly is required, we recommend using an assistant during the initial product assembly. Please read all documentation prior to assembly.

Those who choose to access this website from other locations do so at their own risk and are responsible for compliance with any and all local laws, if and to the extent local laws are applicable.
This agreement, and any dispute, which arises from and out of this website, shall be construed with the laws of the province of Ontario. Any legal action regarding this agreement or this website shall be brought only in either the provincial or federal courts located within the city of Toronto, Ontario and by using this site you consent to personal jurisdiction within these courts.
