The Copy Stand Gantry was designed for use in a forensics lab for high-resolution imaging of evidence. The Copy Stand Gantry is also used for scanning and reproduction of large artwork and objects.

The base model is supplied with two hand wheel controls: one for the horizontal axis and one for the vertical axis. A motorized option is available.

The gantry is moved manually along its length axis. The design allows for very smooth movement by utilizing all-steel profile rails and bearings. One person can move the gantry along its length axis, but it is recommended to use two people until the operators are familiar with the characteristics of the gantry.

The Gantry Copy Stand is supplied with adjustable rubber feet and can also be bolted to a customer-supplied flat mounting surface.

A camera head mount plate is included but not shown in the product image. Two adjustable lighting support arms are included and are mounted to the carriage so strobes can move together with the camera (also not shown in the product image).

The arms allow customer-supplied strobes/LED lights to be positioned in front of, behind, or to the sides of the camera. The strobe/LED light adjustment distance from the camera is 12 in / 300 mm to 36 in / 900 mm.

A unique Studio Titan feature not always found on other copy table stands is the vertical and horizontal column graduated tape scales. These measuring scales provide a point of reference, allowing the photographer to index the camera to a specific location or log and recreate a previous setup.

Packaging with Recyclable Materials

Studio Titan respects the environment. When selecting packaging materials, Studio Titan prefers using recyclable materials to reduce environmental impact.

• Column box (blue outer plastic): Polypropylene (PP), resin identification code 5 (recyclable)
• Product boxes and protection edges: Corrugated cardboard (recyclable via depots, curbside programs, or private recyclers)
• Internal securing foam blocks: PE (polyethylene foam), 100% recyclable
• Plastic bags: LDPE (low-density polyethylene), identification code 4 (check local recycling acceptance)
• Yellow plastic strapping: PET (polyethylene terephthalate), recyclable and commonly used in logistics

Recycled Materials Used Inside the Products

Studio Titan respects the environment. When manufacturing products, Studio Titan prefers using raw materials mixed with recycled materials to reduce environmental impact.

For aluminum components (vertical column, horizontal column, legs, die-cast carriages, base, cap, and head-mount plates), the typical ratio is 70% recycled to 30% raw aluminum. This globally adopted ratio provides good strength and finish.

For steel components (circular or square columns, hardware, casters, gears, and counterweight), we have confirmed the steel includes recycled materials combined with raw materials. We are not able to provide the exact percentage, as each product uses a different ratio based on its end use.

Prop. 65 Warning Label Explanation

For clients who are in the State of California, we have voluntarily added Prop. 65 warning labels to prevent unintentional misrepresentation. It is our intention to supply products that are not toxic and are compliant with Prop. 65 safe level guidelines.
