Digital Studio Camera Stand STA-01-380

The STA-01-380 is designed for Digital SLR Photography. When compared to other brand products, in a similar size and load capacity, the STA-01-380 provides greater overall stability and smooth, play free movement. It is a perfect size for compact-sized portrait studios. This stand is categorized as 1-axis. The Vertical carriage incorporates smooth rolling ball bearings which provide quick play free Vertical [up/down] positioning of the camera using one knob.

The counterweight located inside the vertical column balances the load, allowing the operator to change the vertical camera position using only one hand. The Horizontal arm / bar is fixed. With the supplied hex tool the head mount plate can be loosened and moved to the left or right along the horizontal arm/bar. The foot-operated brake plungers can be locked and unlocked very quickly using only a foot. This provides very rapid repositioning of the stand and quick securing of the base.

The STA-01-380 can also pass through a standard doorway which makes it easy to move between classrooms and labs. The two supplied Camera Head Mount Plates are user adjustable.

The head mount plate can also be re-positioned around the horizontal arm/bar in the following shooting positions: 0 degrees pointing up as supplied, 60 degrees, 120 degrees, 180 degrees pointing down for tabletop photography, 240 degrees and 300 degrees. One Camera Head Mount Plate can be used to mount the camera head. The second Camera Head Mount Plate can be used to mount a second camera head or the small accessory shelf STA-01-397A for tethered shooting into a notebook computer or tablet.
